You can almost hear it now, the ominous signs of Republicans decrying President Obama's explanation of a simple truth. It's a truth they detest, despise, and deplore. They will rant and scream and spit that Obama is merely pushing all his problems on President Bush and failing to lead.
They will come back, fists clenched and faces red, eager to defend a President who lowered taxes while entering a war. Indeed, even after his Treasury Secretary disagreed and eventually resigned because of his disgust of such action. Remember Paul O'Neill? Bush tossed him to the can because of his disagreement over tax policy. Or should I say: level one macroeconomic common sense.
Anyway, I digress, our chronically illogical Republican friends are back with a vengeance. Now claiming that the capture of Osama Bin Laden is to the entire credit of our former Commander, and not to the credit of our current President.
Huh?
(...Ain't that the truth?)
