Democratic Representative Gabrielle Giffords today flew to Cape Canaveral , Florida, to attend Friday at the launch of shuttle Endeavour . Her husband, Mark Kelly will command the final mission.
The elected 40 years, suffering from a bullet to the head during a shootout on Jan. 8 in a political rally in Tucson, won last week the green light from his medical team from the rehabilitation center in Houston , where she was transferred following the tragedy.
