I happened to notice the my Rep, Ben Ray Lujan, who I met in Austin when he came to ask for our support in 2008, hasn't yet signed on as a co-sponsor of the People's Budget.
I tried to write him to ask about this oversight, but his website software doesn't realize that my home, the village of Tecolotito, Pct 17 of San Miguel County, receives its mail at the Post Office in Anton Chico, just over the line in Guadalupe County, which is in NM CD2. My zip code tells his software that I am not his constituent.
So I left a message on his NM office phone to inform them of this. Whether I get a response will tell me something about my Rep's diligence in attending to his constituents.
This isn't really worthy of a "Diary", but I wanted to get this noticed, and I suspect Google will show this entry, especially if some of you Kossaks read this and give it some traffic. I hope he is on the ball and has a bright young thing in his office who keeps track of this sort of obscure stuff. Call it a reality check.
